Key Responsibilities:

• Creation of weekly schedules and assisting with monthly scheduling
• Provide guidance for other technical staff, planners and support at planning meetings
• Liaise with Maintenance teams to optimise equipment maintenance scheduling
• Process owner for short term dump design work and inspection processes
• Responsible for ensuring the weekly reconciliation meeting figures are correct and updated
• Liaising with the projects team to coordinate resources and communicate requirements and interactions at a monthly and weekly level.
• Understanding monthly dumping sequence and dumping construction methodologies to assist in managing priorities, resources and interactions.
• Ensuring all designs uploaded to Engineering Master or released to Production have followed the correct process and signoffs

Roster and Location:

• 15 days on, 13 days off
• Based at McArthur River Mine, NT.

About You:

• Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Mining or similar relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mining engineering systems in open pit metalliferous mines that includes a minimum of three years’ experience.
• Previous experience with mine design and scheduling software (Vulcan, Deswik)
