We are running a large Data Warehouse, which is constantly improved and that delivers reports, containing card-based payment transactions in various formats for external and internal stakeholders. We are a collegial, friendly and helpful team; looking for a skilled and open-minded person to join us.

  5. Design and maintain the security aspect of the GCP environment. Experience with PCI-DSS certification is a plus
  6. Build and support CI pipelines in Gitlab
  7. Automate the setup of new systems
  8. Support application modernization and migrations from on-premises to GCP
  9. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) setup (Terraform)
  10. Set up monitoring, participate in incident handling, and on-call rotations
  11. Maintain legacy on-premises systems periodically (mainly Bash and Python scripts / Gitlab CI)

Skills we can’t do without:

  1. Expertise in state-of-the-art SRE / DevOps topics, with experience in a similar role
  2. Profound knowledge of GCP, including core services and security practices. Knowledge of GCP data-related services is a big plus
  3. At least 5 years of experience with cloud technologies, with the last 3 years working specifically with GCP, and a good understanding of cloud-based architecture
  4. Experience with Terraform and integrating CI/CD pipelines (we use GitLab)
  5. Practical experience in setting up monitoring and understanding monitoring metrics
  6. Experience managing Linux-based systems
  7. Experience with Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  8. Knowledge of Java and card-based transaction systems is a plus
  9. Certifications such as CKA, GCP Professional Architect/Security, CCNA are advantageous
  10. Fluent English skills are required; knowledge of German, Italian, Spanish, or French is a plus
