Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, LITASCO SA is a global partner and supplier of crude oil, petroleum products, and biofuels. The company manages retail and refining operations across Europe while conducting trading activities worldwide.

Job Purpose Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst’s primary objective is to understand financial information, perform in-depth analysis, deliver insightful explanations to enhance management decision-making and represent the desk internally and externally, building networks with LITASCO Group subsidiaries and LUKOIL Group Headquarters and LUKOIL Group subsidiaries.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Participation in preparation of presentations materials for LITASCO / LUKOIL Top Management;
  • Management accounts and reporting preparation and analysis;
  • Cash flow analysis and reporting;
  • Budget preparation and analysis;
  • Support the business planning, budgeting and forecast processes across LITASCO Group;
  • Lead and/or participate in ad hoc projects; take actions to develop and implement new projects related to the Desk;
  • Lead and/or participate in SAP/ETRM system development projects, take actions to develop and implement improvements related to reporting;
  • Provide other departments with information for ad-hoc requests and recurring reports (assisting business/trading and Treasury with ad-hoc reports and analysis as well as providing management with reports to enhance decision-making process);
  • Point of liaison between LUKOIL Headquarters (Economics Department in particular) and LITASCO Group.

If you have:

  • 3 -6 years of professional experience as financial analyst/management controller in a fast-paced international environment;
  • Experience in commodity trading is very valuable;
  • Good knowledge of SAP is required;
  • Professional in Power Point;
  • Excel proficiency is required;
  • Very good knowledge in accounting is required;
  • Knowledge of energy commodity trading would be an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage priorities (flexibility -understand the big picture and allocate time to highest value adding tasks);
  • Use spreadsheets and databases to analyse information;
  • Work with informal people networks to get data and information;
  • Apply management accounting and economics concepts;
  • Continual learning about company’s products, markets, and processes;
  • Ability to tell the story behind the numbers (presentation and argumentation skills);
  • University degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent;
  • CFA, ACCA, CMA or other financial professional qualifications is an asset;
  • Excellent written and oral English and Russian communication skills is mandatory.
