Your role

As a Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be involved in defining the problem, proposing and refining solutions. You will play a key role in development, configuration, and deployment of solutions. You will guide teams on project processes, contribute to proposal development, client training, internal capability-building, and help define project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required

  • Break down problems into segments and evaluate options for solutions.
  • Build cause-effect linkages based on synthesized information to arrive at optimal solutions considering multiple stakeholders.
  • Infer patterns, build and test hypotheses for long-term problem-solving with stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs, build credibility, incorporate feedback, and deliver as committed.
  • Anticipate customer needs, analyze, improve systems and processes, resolve issues, and build confidence as an advisor.
  • Prioritize tasks based on project criticality, plan proactively using historical data, analyze outputs, and plan contingencies.
  • Identify key drivers and constraints, prioritize activities, and develop backup plans for risks.
  • Proficient in English, clear in thought, attentive listener, question for clarity, and confident in sharing viewpoints.
  • Articulate ideas logically, assess audience needs, and communicate effectively.
  • Use data and anecdotes to highlight key points and handle disagreements logically.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge management and problem management methods for issue detection and resolution, plan releases, and understand portfolio analysis tools.
  • Apply basic analysis and process mapping tools for problem identification in simple scenarios.
  • Perform in-depth analysis, evaluate solutions, and map processes to understand impacts on business.
  • Use advanced analysis and process mapping tools to assess problem impacts and identify tracking tools.

Expertise

  • Experience in L2 Application Support, preferably in Finance or Banking.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Oracle PLSQL, Shell Scripting, Autosys, Batch Monitoring, Automation Tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Certification preferred).
  • Experience in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
  • Full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities based on ITIL Framework.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).

Must Have

  • Unix, Oracle, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, ITIL.

Preferred

  • SRE – Site Reliability Engineer, Splunk, AppDynamics.
  • Technologies: Java, Informatica, etc.
