The Position

The Role

The Position :

The position is based in Dubai, UAE, and reports directly to the Site Head. The role involves leading production and manufacturing operations, overseeing end-to-end processes to ensure efficiency and high quality. Responsibilities include resource management, GMP compliance, safety standards adherence, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and operational excellence. The Production Head also plays a key role in capacity planning, cross-functional coordination, and meeting production and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage manufacturing and packaging operations.
  • Ensure products are produced, stored, shipped, and disposed of according to procedures and in compliance with cGMP to ensure quality.
  • Maintain safe work practices and PPE usage across warehouse, manufacturing, and packaging areas.
  • Ensure cleaning and sanitization practices follow SOPs in production and warehouse.
  • Review and approve SOPs, protocols, reports, validation documents, batch records, and ensure their strict implementation.
  • Review and approve QMS documents such as change controls, deviations, investigations, risk management, CAPAs.
  • Provide technical input for investigations related to OOS, OOT, deviations, market complaints, and product recalls.
  • Serve as SME for technology transfer, manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse activities.
  • Ensure warehouse and production records are evaluated and signed by authorized personnel.
  • Implement validation methodologies during new product introduction and process changes.
  • Ensure qualification and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, QC, QA, engineering, and other departments to streamline production scheduling.
  • Meet production KPIs and schedule adherence.
  • Participate in site leadership to develop strategies for delivering quality products efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Oversee procurement of equipment, spares, and consumables.
  • Manage packaging material artwork review, change parts design, and approval.
  • Develop and control operational budgets (CAPEX & OPEX).
  • Conduct internal audits and handle regulatory inspections and compliance.
  • Drive initiatives for quality, safety, efficiency, and cost improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Stay updated on cGMP, equipment advancements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage team performance, including resource planning and KPI setting.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and feedback.
