About the job IAM Business Development Consultant Zurich (12-Month Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) consultant to lead client engagements, drive business development, and oversee IAM/PAM project execution. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives on shaping cybersecurity strategies, building strong client relationships, and delivering high-impact solutions.

Your Role

  • Develop and nurture client relationships, identifying and securing new opportunities for IAM/PAM services.
  • Lead discussions with senior executives and stakeholders to assess security needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including proposal writing, RFP responses, and presenting IAM/PAM solutions to potential clients.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of IAM/PAM projects, from strategy and design to implementation and integration.
  • Ensure the effective deployment of IAM/PAM technologies such as SailPoint, Omada, and CyberArk, optimizing security frameworks.
  • Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends and regulatory requirements, providing expert guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives and helping to refine methodologies and best practices.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on IAM and PAM.
  • Proven track record in project management and client engagement, translating technical concepts into business value.
  • Deep knowledge of IT governance and compliance frameworks (GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Strong business development skills experience crafting proposals, responding to RFPs, and delivering persuasive presentations.
  • A well-established network within Switzerland's CIO, CISO, and CxO community.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPM, or IAM/PAM vendor-specific certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Languages: Fluent English required; German or French highly desirable for effective client interactions.
