2025 Graduate Talent Program – Group Risk Control Multinationals – ZH

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Group Risk Control Graduate Talent Program.

You’ll get to:

• Understand and assess client’s business models and constructively challenge assumptions and financial projections.
• Analyse and assess demanding credit requests for Swiss Corporate clients, develop and implement credit strategies and autonomously take credit decisions.
• Determine client’s debt capacity, rating and other risk relevant parameters.
• Provide input, challenge and support in cross functional deal teams comprising Origination, Risk Control, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets and Legal.
• Learn about and monitor known risks, while also discovering and defining unknown risks.
• Examine complex transactional risks and provide independent challenges in line with our risk control frameworks.
• Actively participate in and support team tasks and projects.
• Analyze, evaluate and support our risk modeling techniques to ensure that risk-based returns are appropriate.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Risk Control Multinationals team in Zurich. We, a group of enthusiastic credit experts, cover large, complex and bespoke credit transactions from the bank’s corporate & multinational clients. This includes leveraged and non-leveraged transactions as well as bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• Has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree no longer than 18 months prior to the program start date.
• Is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines.
• Has good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels.
• Is a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person).
• Has a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in economics, finance or business administration.
• Has sharp analytical and problem solving skills.
• Has a structured work style, confident working autonomously.
• Has excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure).
• Has excellent German and good command in English (written and oral).

Your program

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge about risk management. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or several, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
