As a Data Scientist at Quantis, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of digital products and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) databases, supporting global companies in measuring, understanding, and reducing their environmental impacts.
  • Collaborate with LCA specialists and environmental engineers to ensure scientific accuracy.
  • Develop sector-specific data expertise in industries such as food & beverage, apparel, and cosmetics.
  • Engage with sustainability professionals to build impactful data solutions.

About you:

  • You are passionate about using your technical and analytical skills to advance sustainability and help businesses operate within Planetary Boundaries.
  • You hold a Master’s degree or higher in Data Science, Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • You have strong data manipulation skills and experience building data-driven models and applications.
  • You are proficient in Python, interested in AI and machine learning, and exploring innovative LLM applications.
  • You excel at working with structured and semi-structured data and transforming complex data into insights.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can present complex concepts clearly.
  • You thrive in team environments, providing guidance and mentoring.
  • You are fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.

Additional skills that are a plus:

  • Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
  • Knowledge of agricultural modeling or other sustainability sectors.
