French Tutor

Scientia Education is a fast-growing provider of private tutoring services in and around Geneva. Our mission is to build students' skills, curiosity, and confidence to make a lasting impact on their future studies and careers.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable French tutor to join our team.

About Us

At Scientia Education, we primarily support students in the international school system (e.g., the IB Diploma Programme), though we welcome applications from tutors with experience in other curricula. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive workplace that provides ongoing training, mentorship, and flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.

Your Role

• Deliver engaging, student-centred French lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Offer specialised support for students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, with a focus on Language A and B curricula, oral and written assessments, and exam readiness.
• Help students develop a deeper understanding of French language and literature, preparing them for academic success.
• Work closely with students to build their confidence and motivation.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Completing (or have completed) a research degree (Masters, PhD) in French Literature or a teaching certification (PGCE, UEFE).
• Fluent in English and French.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of the IB education system (preferred but not essential).
