We are recruiting a Quality Applications Specialist based at our headquarters and production site in Geneva. Reporting directly to the Application Manager, your mission is to establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that empowers the organization to deliver high-quality products and services while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You engage regularly with internal customers, vendors and external partners, taking responsibility for evaluating the applications and proposing effective alternatives.

Your main responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating closely with the Quality department to identify, implement, and customize IT applications that meet specific requirements
2. Ensuring proper application configuration, integration with other IT systems, and adherence to quality management standards
3. Developing custom fields, workflows, and reports to facilitate essential quality management activities, such as document control, deviation management, change control, and CAPA
4. Providing IT training and support on all applications to ensure effective use of the Quality Management Systems, including creation of user guides and documentation
5. Identifying opportunities for enhancing IT applications to better support quality management processes
6. Working with vendors or development teams to implement new features, improve user experience, and address limitations or gaps in application functionality
7. Managing application upgrades to ensure effective deployment in alignment with IT practices.
8. Ensuring data integrity and compliance by implementing appropriate access controls, data validation rules, and security measures to protect sensitive quality data

To carry out this mission, we are looking for an autonomous individual with the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Quality Management or equivalent; or Vocational Education and Training (CFC)
2. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as Application Specialist preferable within IT
3. Experience with Quality Management Systems and Applications, preferably in regulated industries such as Biotech, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Food, or equivalent
4. Proficiency in configuring and customizing IT applications
5. Experience with Trackwise, Conga, Salesforce and/or eDMS is a plus
6. Fluency in French and in English
