Project Manager Metrology & Validation

Home office policy:

We have a hybrid work model. The candidate will start fully on-site and then switch to hybrid as appropriate for business needs (usually 1-2 days per week).

Description of the department:

The Metrology & Validation team is responsible for the maintenance, qualification, and validation of laboratory analytical instruments and equipment across multiple laboratories and departments. Projects include instrument/equipment purchase, qualification/validation, and new software implementation.

We require an experienced Project Manager to support planning, readiness, and execution tracking of team projects.

Responsibilities include defining, coordinating, managing, and tracking all projects within the Metrology team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and management of project schedules for Metrology projects, including qualification and software implementation.
2. Routine preparation of project status updates for stakeholders.
3. Developing and managing standard work templates for routine projects in coordination with US Metrology teams.
4. Role may involve purchase order preparation and budget tracking.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar role is highly valued.
2. Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Smart Sheets, or Power Project is required.
3. Degree or certification in project management is required.
4. Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience.
5. Experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical or regulatory industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
6. English proficiency at C1 level is mandatory; German language skills are a plus.

Day in the Job:

Attend daily project update and stakeholder meetings, manage Power Project schedules, collaborate with EU and US teams to implement project management practices.
