Cyber Security Engineer 100 % (f / m)

For our client, one of the leading IT service providers in Switzerland based in Bern, we are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for a permanent position.

Your responsibilities :

1. You develop, plan and implement state-of-the-art cyber security solutions and put them into operation directly at our customers' sites.
2. You create and present well-thought-out security and solution concepts and implement them with innovative technologies.
3. You are a competent consultant in the field of cyber security and convince our customers with your expertise.
4. You support and advise our sales team in preparing offers and actively participate in the presales phase to offer customized solutions.
5. You will contribute your expertise to our company and, with your creative and innovative ideas, make a significant contribution to the further development of our cyber security services and solutions.
6. You will take responsibility for on-call and on-call duty (approx. 5 weeks per year) and ensure maximum safety for our customers.
7. You will work with our Operations team on a case-by-case basis and support them with your in-depth know-how.
8. You have a higher education (HF, FH, Uni / ETH) in computer science or a comparable qualification.
9. You have several years of experience in the cyber security environment and solid knowledge in networks.
10. You possess in-depth knowledge of products and technologies of leading manufacturers, ideally Check Point, Fortinet, F5, or Cisco.
11. You are passionate about cyber security solutions and hold relevant manufacturer or general security certifications, or are motivated to acquire them.
12. You see further training as an opportunity and want to develop yourself continuously.
13. You are comfortable in your role as a cyber security expert and see presentations to customers or at events as an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge.
14. You are a service-oriented team player with initiative.
15. You are accustomed to working on multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining an overview.
16. New technologies fascinate you, and you enjoy exploring new topics.
17. You approach tasks in an organized and independent manner, implementing projects efficiently and at a high standard.
18. You understand Swiss German, have very good German skills (C1 / C2), and excellent written and spoken English skills.
19. You possess a category B driving license and are flexible regarding locations in Germany and Switzerland.
