    Who are we looking for?

    You will be working with a variety of customers in academic, pharmaceutical, clinical and material science research and ensure that our customer make maximum use of their system that they invested in to explore the microscopic world of nanostructures, molecules and large bio-molecules such as proteins.

    You will be the leader of the local service operations in Eastern Europe and Middle East to further nurture customer satisfaction, drive service innovation and run the service business and in your assigned region.

    If this role sounds like it's interesting to you, here's a little about what you'll be doing and what you can expect from a day in the life of a Services Territory Manager in our organization. Your focus will be on managing the service operations and distributors in the region, including system installations, delivering customer service and support in a consistent and high-quality manner. You will ensure high customer loyalty, leading to continuous aftermarket revenue streams. Here you will manage the attainment of financial targets based on the annual budget.

    This position can be done fully remote in the DACH region or Eastern European Countries. Easy travel access to our R&D site in Fällanden (near Zürich) and Ettlingen (near Karlsruhe) would be advantageous.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and develop a high-performing service team ensuring efficiency, safety as well as performance, utilization, and cost goals.
    • Ensure fulfillment of business plans for service as well as for instrument installation for the entire Bruker BioSpin portfolio in the area of responsibility.
    • Develop staffing plans for the area (assess demand, recruit, and develop Service Technicians).
    • Implement Bruker’s global strategies through tactics in the region of responsibility.
    • Implement all field service policies and procedures regarding resource management, account maintenance, sales support, and service operations (e.g., installation planning, remote support, SLA fulfillment).
    • Work in close support and coordination with interdepartmental functions including sales, second level support, order fulfillment, supply chain, planning, procurement.

    Qualifications

    • A degree in an appropriate science or engineering discipline, preferable with analytical instrument work experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years supervision of field employees.
    • Experience in managing
    • Profound experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
    • Valid passport and willingness to travel
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (in German (B2) and English (C1)- written and oral).
    • Strong customer focus combined with proficient strategic and tactical business orientation.
    • Successful history of process optimization and continuous improvement mindset.
    • An outgoing and likeable personality with a high degree of personal integrity.
