For one of our clients, a well-renowned pharmaceutical company based in the Neuchâtel area, we are currently seeking a Project Plan Engineer.

This role is multitasking/cross functional whereby the consultant shall be responsible for supporting as technical expert and support the delivery of projects of varying complexity that span the complete site operations and organizational boundaries, coordinating all the Engineering WP and other of project (Metrology, Automation, Electricity, EHS, Validation, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary contact (Subject Matter Expert SME) for the users of the assigned installations with regard to technical aspects. (HVAC system, Water Systems - WFI, Cooling system and loop, Chillers, Process Gases and Building Utility Systems – all critical GMP Utilities)
  • Active participation in investigations, deviations and CAPAs – concerning both quality and EHS (compliance with cGMP, GEP, SUVA/ASIT etc
  • Leads &/or Supports the design and qualification of improvements, changes or upgrades to the equipment/plant. - Monitors, evaluates and approves the implementation of supplier interventions for FU equipment.
  • Chairs Engineering work stream team meeting
  • Ensure all Engineering Work packages deliver according to the project schedule
  • Actively challenge over engineered design solutions
  • Check and approve design deliverables
  • Be responsible for the Scope, Risk, Stakeholder management of his WS;
  • Fill his effetely work contribution real contribution according to the Portfolio life cycle management policy.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of a GMP environment - Engineering degree (BS, MS or equivalent) in mechanical, automation/technical engineering, biotechnology and/or in the appropriate sciences – chemistry, physics etc.
  • 5+ years experience in the Pharma/Biotech/Chimie or Energies industry
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Project management
  • French and English (spoken and written), German a plus
  • PLC/Automation (Siemens, Johnson Controls or Allen Bradley) programming experience a plus
  • Good skills in using MS products
  • Word, Excel, Teams, Project, OneNote etc.
