Functional Data Analyst

At FORFIRM, we are looking for a motivated Functional Data Analyst to join our lively international team and work on projects for Europe's leading brands!

Responsibilities

1. Transform Business Requirements into Logical and Conceptual Data Models
2. Collaborate with the technical team (data architects and developers) to address business needs
3. Manage incidents regarding data, identifying the correct stakeholder (tech or business)
4. Test solutions implemented to ensure they function properly
5. Collaborate on strategic data projects for BANK clients and serve as the primary contact for data preparation
6. Prepare user manuals and documentation on Data Models and features developed
7. Extract and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns

Skills Required

1. Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Statistics, or Economics
2. General understanding of Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence applications
3. Understanding of Data Modeling principles
4. Understanding of Data Quality principles
5. Good knowledge of PL/SQL or BigQuery
6. Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset
7. Organizational and conceptual skills with a structured and independent work approach
8. High service orientation and quality awareness in a dynamic environment
9. Confident appearance and strong communication skills in English
10. Knowledge of Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus
11. Exposure to Banking or Financial Services industries is a plus
