Ecolab is seeking a Sales Development Manager – Institutional to help grow our Institutional business, which offers comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the foodservice and hospitality sectors, including restaurants, hotels, schools, long-term care facilities, and more. You will serve as the face of Ecolab, providing recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs that drive a positive guest experience and create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

What You Will Do :
- Increase Ecolab Institutional market share. Target markets include, but are not limited to: Health and Aged Care (public and private), Hospitality (Hotels/Motels), Government facilities (Armed forces), Private Schools, Local Government, FSR (chain business), Restaurants.
- Achieve new business sales targets as established in the budgeting process.
- Ensure profitable growth via new business by adhering to strict pricing guidelines.
- Conduct technical surveys to tailor Ecolab programs effectively.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate the Ecolab value proposition and secure new business.
- Develop basic customer rollout plans to clarify expectations for customers and field teams.
- Collaborate with the field team and represent Ecolab during prospecting, proposals, and presentations.
- Manage the relationship transition to the Local Sales Team.
- Participate in training sessions combining classroom learning and on-the-job assessments.
- Build and maintain industry contacts through networking, trade shows, functions, and equipment suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, and Corporate Account Managers.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 years of outside sales experience
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous sales development experience within Institutional market sectors
- Solid understanding of Ecolab products, services, and systems, especially their application in Institutional markets
- Results-oriented with a proven track record in B2B sales
- Experience in negotiating and winning new business at an executive level
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills and a passion for exceeding client expectations
