Position Summary: What Does an Executive Officer Do?

This Executive Officer position is high-impact, strategic, and diverse. You’ll support the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director of Unitaid in areas such as:

• Leading strategic and organizational projects
• Managing executive communications and stakeholder engagement
• Preparing high-level reports and speech materials
• Providing policy advice and ensuring alignment with Unitaid’s global health objectives
• Coordinating cross-departmental and interagency initiatives

You’ll also help draft the Executive Director’s official reports to the Unitaid Executive Board and manage strategic messaging for global summits and partner engagements.

• Draft and manage priority communications and strategic initiatives
• Liaise with internal teams, governments, and partner organizations
• Support the Executive Director in preparing for external engagements

Required Qualifications: Who Can Apply?

Education:

• Required: Master’s degree in public health, international relations, economics, or related field
• Bonus: Project management training or a second advanced degree in health policy, management, or development

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
