The role integrates three key dimensions :

  • Develop access and pricing launch strategy for Incyte's portfolio in the inflammation and autoimmunity therapeutic areas (see portfolio at incyte.com)
  • Execute strategy across Incyte’s International footprint, ensuring country readiness for launches with the support of local Value Access & HEOR teams

Duties and Responsibilities

In coordination with cross-functional teams, responsibilities include :

  • Initial focus will be on the upcoming launches including Opzelura and Povorcitinib but also later launches in the pipeline.
  • Lead access strategies for assets to ensure patient access and value recognition across regions, while supporting HTA assessments and pricing negotiations through targeted data generation and early, broad cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with Market Access lead, Brand team, Regulatory, and global Access teams to align strategies.
  • Identify data gaps and inform the data generation strategy by developing and executing remediation plans, in collaboration with country, medical, and global HEOR teams.
  • Develop and lead execution of high-quality resources to optimize HTA submissions and their outcomes e.g. C / E model, Indirect treatment comparisons, supplementary statistical analysis on subgroups, Core Value dossier, objection handler.
  • Analyze pricing drivers in key countries, considering factors like comparators, HTA ratings, subpopulations, and C / E.
  • Develop and present pricing strategies for endorsement by the Pricing Committee.
  • Actively support country P&R negotiations.
  • Establish KPIs and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
  • Participate in Clinical Development and Commercialization Teams to ensure EU access priorities are considered in the go-to-market strategy.
  • Provide a Market access and HEOR perspective so that clinical development design is fit for reimbursement across International.
  • Support and challenge local Market Access Directors to ensure optimal local performance.
  • Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics.
  • Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree (Master’s or higher) in sciences, economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience with health authorities, governmental economists and reimbursement agencies, hospital administrators and health care insurance companies’ general management, acquired at pharmaceutical companies, sickness funds, physician associations or health care consultancy companies.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional engagement skills.
  • Cut through complexity to articulate key strategic choices.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Can-do' attitude and team player to effectively liaise with Market Access teams and create efficient working collaboration and alignment with the other functions in a cross-cultural work environment.
  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
