SENIOR LNG ORIGINATOR

Our client is a very dynamic and highly professional global player in the Zurich area with offices in different countries. On his behalf, we are looking for a dynamic and talented professional.

Responsibilities:

• You will control the books trading activities.
• You will hedge all the respective price and pricing/differential and arbitrage risk in line with exposure limits.
• You will align with the group risk policy.
• You will report all the concerns on risk.
• You will conduct and manage the company’s originating activities for the LNG desk.
• You will monitor the aspects of the execution of such businesses in close collaboration with the company’s operations and back office personnel.
• You are responsible for the daily reporting of the business transactions.
• You will be responsible for not limited to physical and derivative transactions.
• You will be responsible for logistics contracts and storage lease agreements.
• You align the transactions with the company’s procedures and regulations.
• You collaborate with the company’s middle office team.
• You will establish and maintain business relationships with suppliers, customers, and storage owners.
• You will develop new business opportunities following the company’s strategy and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Finance, Management, Economy or similar.
• 6-12 years of relevant working experience in a similar position.
• Around 3-5 years of experience in the LNG physical trading field.
• You might have experience as a Trading Analyst and/or a Trader in LNG.
• Analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, team spirit, flexible, dynamic.
• Strong communication skills, thinking out of the box.
• Entrepreneurial thinking.
