Role Summary:

In 2025, GRF is inviting a distinguished group of senior leaders to join its Founding Leaders Council — the core body responsible for shaping GRF’s foundational agenda, governance architecture, and multilateral partnerships. Members will actively contribute to defining strategic priorities, establishing corridor frameworks, and forming GRF’s inaugural committees, including election and appointment processes that govern Board nominations and future leadership selection.

Pathway to Board Nomination:

Joining the Leaders Council in 2025 provides a clear, transparent pathway to Board eligibility in January 2026. In line with GRF’s Charter and Bylaws, all nominees must demonstrate an active, verified membership history for a minimum qualifying period prior to assuming formal Board roles. This ensures governance continuity, fiduciary integrity, and alignment with GRF’s clause-verifiable compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-design the GRF 2025–2030 strategic roadmap, corridor deployment plans, and regional satellite event structure.
  • Establish foundational committees for governance, elections, membership vetting, and policy development.
  • Advise on sovereign frameworks, corridor finance instruments, and simulation-backed scenario planning.
  • Strengthen cross-sector alliances with governments, multilateral agencies, risk capital partners, and indigenous governance clusters.
  • Serve as a visible ambassador for GRF’s mission at global summits, corridor showcases, and diplomatic briefings.

Who Should Join:

  • Senior leaders in government, IGOs, resilience finance, climate diplomacy, or frontier risk governance.
  • Influential thinkers with a proven track record of multilateral collaboration and corridor-scale impact.
  • High-integrity strategists committed to equity, transparency, and systemic resilience.

Membership Requirement:

All Leaders Council members must be or become registered Affiliate, Fellow, or Patron Members of the Global Risks Forum for 2025, with an annual contribution tier appropriate to their level of engagement. The GRF membership status is mandatory to ensure full legal ops compliance and to meet the eligibility threshold for Board and committee nomination in 2026. Term:

Founding term begins in 2025; members participate in Council sessions, regional corridor meetings, and committee activities as needed. Expect high-level advisory + preparatory governance process to forge new architecture of global risks governance. Board nominations open to eligible Council members starting January 2026.

How to Apply:

Submit a detailed CV and a statement of intent outlining your vision for shaping GRF’s foundations. Also include receipt of your preferred membership tier (Affiliate, Fellow, or Patron). The GRF Secretariat will guide you through the onboarding and Council induction process.
