The opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to shape the future of finance agenda for large Swiss (re)insurance companies. You will drive large-scale finance transformation programs, engage with cross-functional teams, and implement impactful changes. Leverage your expertise in a dynamic, international environment and contribute to innovative finance solutions. Join us to build a better working world through Finance Transformation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

1. Drive the conversation with CFOs around the future of finance, current global (re)insurance finance trends, peer benchmarks, and challenges
2. Lead and manage large finance transformation programs, ensuring successful delivery of a portfolio of smaller change projects together with interdisciplinary teams
3. Act as the Program Director, delivering and promoting EY’s expertise on Finance Transformation matters
4. Engage with finance, IT, accounting, data, and actuarial professionals to address business issues and drive transformation
5. Develop and implement strategies to address clients’ finance technology challenges
6. Collaborate with international teams and leverage global best practices to enhance finance transformation efforts

Skills and attributes for success

1. Proven track record of managing large programs and delivering successful finance transformation projects on an international scale with an entrepreneurial mindset
2. Significant experience in the international (re)insurance sector; additional banking experience is an advantage
3. Deep knowledge of international finance transformation-related technologies, with an understanding of the business aspects of (re)insurance clients
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels to maintain a strong client network
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex business environments
6. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus
7. Experience in Change Management is highly desirable
8. Effective communication and collaboration skills with finance, IT, accounting, data, and actuarial professionals
9. Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus and achieve business objectives
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels
11. Fluent in German and English
