Retail Area Manager Switzerland

Job Description

Reporting directly to our North of Europe Zone Director and working closely with the commercial, accounting, administrative, and HR departments, you will be responsible for developing the company's commercial strategy in Switzerland.

You will ensure compliance with legal and mandatory requirements across all our points of sale. You will actively interact with Store Managers regarding team organization, management, coordination, as well as administrative and commercial aspects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Profitability: Execute commercial strategies to maximize store profitability. Define sales strategies and action plans, analyze sales KPIs, and identify growth opportunities.
2. Customer Experience: Collaborate with teams and Store Managers to provide personalized service aligned with group standards and local market needs. Train and support teams to understand customer needs and deliver excellent client experiences.
3. People Management: Recruit, onboard, and develop Store Managers. Ensure motivation, training, coaching, and HR support are in place.
4. Operations Control: Act as the link between points of sale and HQ to organize and manage stock, transfers, commercial actions, visuals, etc. Supervise POS opening and closing to ensure smooth operations.

• Strong awareness and sensitivity towards fashion.
• Retail experience in the fashion industry.
• Ability to ensure smooth daily operations supporting commercial objectives.
• Problem-solving skills with independent decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Fluency in German & English; knowledge of French is an asset, especially for Swiss-French regions.

Additional Information

Location: The role is based across Switzerland or France. Note that a valid work permit may be required if you are not a passport holder of the country.
