Job Description
The consultant will join the OTC workstream of a global S/4HANA transformation program, focusing on Order Management and Sales & Distribution configuration. Responsibilities include handling order-taking processes including pricing and ATP checks; configuring and supporting SD objects such as Sales Orders, Item Categories, Credit Blocks, and Order Types; participating in business process harmonization; managing configuration using Fiori Apps; contributing to billing and validation workflows; defining validation flows and error management; interacting with MM, IM, and EWM modules; collaborating with logistics and customer service teams; and producing project documentation in English. The consultant must report to the OTC project lead and contribute to stakeholder workshops.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SAP SD configuration and support related to Sales Orders, Pricing, ATP, and Order Types
• Lead or support business workshops and process design sessions focused on order management, validation, and exception handling
• Define, implement, and test validation workflows and error-handling mechanisms
• Configure and test Fiori applications relevant to SD order processing
• Collaborate with stakeholders in logistics, customer service, and other modules (MM/IM/EWM) to ensure seamless process integration
• Provide project updates and reporting to the OTC Project Lead
• Assist with user training, documentation, and post-go-live support
• Maintain strong communication with both technical and business teams
• Ensure compliance with global standards while contributing to process harmonization initiatives
• Contribute to CRM or eCommerce-related integration topics if required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD, including configuration of Sales Orders, Pricing, ATP, and Credit Management
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes and integration with MM/IM/EWM
• Experience with S/4HANA, including Fiori apps and modern UX
• Ability to lead or participate in functional workshops, process validation, and error handling
• Familiarity with billing processes and CRM/eCommerce integration is an asset
• Must be able to read and understand technical documentation in English
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Mid-level consultants are acceptable if supported by strong project environment
