The “Battery Systems” group of our “Sustainable Energy” Business Unit based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, is currently looking for a Battery System Engineer.
Your mission
The battery system engineer supports the battery system team by designing, commissioning, and testing high-voltage battery systems. This includes both commercial products and our internal zBMS platform.
Your responsibilities
- System integration and realization of battery systems demonstrators up to 100 kW and 800 V
- Modeling and simulation of battery/energy systems using Python, Matlab, or similar tools (a plus)
- System-level analysis, including functional prototype verification and documentation
- Standard-conform validation of developed prototype systems
Your profile
Know-how
- MSc/PhD in Engineering with at least 5 years of practical experience
- Experience in high-voltage and high-power system design
- Knowledge of battery standards and associated testing and validation protocols
- Experience in prototyping power systems up to 100 kW and 800 V
- Proven experience in testing and validation with laboratory equipment
- Implementation and configuration of communication protocols
- Professional proficiency in English (oral and written)
