Data Acquisition Specialist
A Deep Tech company specializing in AI/ML and Blockchain is seeking highly motivated Data Acquisition Specialists to join their growing team in Zurich. They are building cutting-edge technology and are looking for talented individuals to contribute to our innovative work.
About the Role:
As a Data Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, acquiring, and integrating data from various sources to fuel their AI/ML model development and platform functionality. You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with key data providers within the construction, architectural, and related industries.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish partnerships with data providers such as construction companies, architectural firms, and other relevant organizations.
- Collect and integrate data from various sources to support AI/ML model development and platform functionality.
- Negotiate data access agreements and licensing contracts with data providers.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability by implementing data validation and cleaning processes.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to integrate acquired data into the platform’s data infrastructure.
- Maintain up-to-date records of data acquisition activities and partnerships.
- Monitor data sources for updates and new data availability.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data acquisition.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on acquired data to support business decisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data acquisition and integration.
Requirements:
- Minimum Masters degree from a global top 40 university.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Data Acquisition Specialist or similar role within a technology-driven company.
- Strong understanding of data collection, integration, and validation processes.
- Excellent negotiation and partnership-building skills.
- Proficient in data management tools and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations is a plus.
