Qualifications

About the Role
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and operate large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures the reliability, uptime, and performance of Google's services, focusing on optimization, automation, and infrastructure development. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team, oversee global products, and provide technical leadership for key projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Software/Systems Engineers, ensuring uptime and performance.
- Own availability and build automation to prevent issues and automate responses.
- Mentor team members and demonstrate technical excellence.
- Manage on-call rotations across multiple continents using a follow-the-sun model.
- Design, develop, and deploy software to enhance system availability, scalability, and efficiency.
