Senior Cyber Security Engineer 80 - 100% (f / m)

For our client, a company in the IT Services and Consulting industry based in Zurich, we are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer for a permanent role.

Your responsibilities :

1. You develop, plan, configure, and install modern enterprise security solutions for our customers.
2. You create concepts and implement solutions in the area of security.
3. Consulting and presales activities in the field of security.
4. You support and advise our sales organization in the preparation of offers.
5. You develop and present technical solution concepts and advise our customers.
6. You support our operations team with your in-depth know-how.
7. On-call and emergency service (approx. 6 weeks per year).
8. You have professional training in the field of IT and several years of practical experience in cybersecurity.
9. You possess solid knowledge of one or more products from manufacturers such as Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5, or others.
10. You are enthusiastic about security solutions/products and hold certifications in this area or are motivated to acquire them.
11. Knowledge in routing & switching.
12. You value targeted training and further education.
13. As a consultant, you are comfortable communicating, and occasional presentations to customers or at events are within your capabilities.
14. You are a service-oriented team player with initiative.
15. You are accustomed to working on multiple projects simultaneously.
16. You are interested in new technologies and motivated to explore new areas.
17. You understand Swiss German, have very good German skills (C1/C2), and excellent written and spoken English skills.
18. You are well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of delivering high-level projects with minimal supervision.
19. You can prioritize effectively and manage your time well, even under pressure.
20. You hold a category B driving license and are flexible regarding locations in Germany and Switzerland.
21. Due to Swiss work permit restrictions, applications are only considered from Swiss nationals, EU citizens, and current work permit holders in Switzerland.
