Digital Biomarker Clinical Integration Manager

The Position

Job Mission

We, the Digital Biomarker (dBM) Chapter in Roche Information Solutions, are an integrated team of scientists, technologists, data analysts, and operationalization experts that leverage mobile technologies like smartphones and wearables to collect objective and continuous sensor data from patients in clinical trials.

We co-create innovative digital remote monitoring concepts for sensitive and meaningful drug development endpoints, implement them in technology solutions, develop health-related outcome measures with the data, seek community- and regulatory acceptance of the endpoints, and offer these solutions to biopharma companies and research institutes for clinical trials. Additionally, we are establishing scientific foundations for disease monitoring and screening in clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Execute our digital biomarker strategy to integrate mobile sensor data workflows into clinical development processes for customers in areas such as disease understanding, internal drug decision-making (phase I-II), and regulatory treatment approval (phase III-IV).
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with clinical trial customer teams from pre-sales to study protocol development, setup, and close-out.
• Lead the deployment of digital biomarkers in clinical trials with Roche Pharma and external partners, including project management.
• Drive the remote patient monitoring components of IRB/Ethics Committee submissions and address follow-up questions.
• Develop processes for translation, logistics, support, and vendor management at scale.
• Prepare and distribute site support materials, including training resources.
• Provide operational support for digital biomarker solutions during studies, acting as the main point of contact.
