About the position

Adecco is seeking an experienced leader in the service industry for a stylish brasserie concept in the heart of Bern. The Restaurant Manager position offers significant creative freedom in a high-quality, urban environment with a discerning clientele.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the service area including breakfast, lobby, room service, and terrace (summer operation)
• Leadership, development, and scheduling of a team of approximately 25 staff members
• Conducting training sessions and fostering team development
• Participating in the design of offers and operational concepts of the brasserie
• Creating duty rosters including holiday and absence management
• Assisting in recruiting and onboarding new team members
• Achieving budget goals and implementing sales-promoting measures

Profile

• Completed training in gastronomy or hospitality
• Several years of experience in a comparable leadership role
• Excellent German and English skills, French is an advantage
• Confident demeanor when dealing with domestic and international guests
• Strong communication skills and organizational talent
• Interest in current gastronomy trends and digital communication
