The Chair Group of Production and Resource Economics at the TUM School of Management and the TUM School of Life Sciences offers three positions as Ph.D. Student / Junior Researcher.
The initial appointment will be 2 years with the possibility of extension. Salary is in accordance with the German State Regulated Public Salary Scale (starting at TV-L E13 2/3).
The successful candidate will conduct cutting-edge empirical research in at least one of the following areas:
This research will lead to an internationally competitive PhD degree and peer-reviewed publications.
The position involves engagement in nationally and internationally funded projects, such as EU Horizon projects (e.g., URSOILL, WATERGRID) or national projects. The candidate will receive high-quality supervision from senior academic staff and may be involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as in funding acquisition and global outreach, if desired. International networking and collaborations are highly encouraged, with opportunities to connect with regions like South America, Asia, or Africa. The PhD candidate will be integrated into TUM’s School of Life Sciences or School of Management and participate in related Graduate School training programs.
