Penetration Tester - Contract Role | Leading European Bank

Ready to break into systems to make them safer?
A well-established European bank is looking for a Penetration Tester to join its cybersecurity team. You'll work at the heart of its security efforts-identifying vulnerabilities and helping fortify one of the most critical infrastructures in the financial sector.


Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out penetration tests on internal and external systems
• Analyze and document security vulnerabilities and configuration issues
• Support the implementation of corrective actions in collaboration with the cybersecurity team

Requirements

• Solid understanding of penetration testing methodologies
• Technical knowledge in authentication, web technologies, and security architectures
• Experience using security tools (e.g. interception proxies, command-line tools)
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g. OWASP WSTG, ASVS, MASTG)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Clear and concise communicator in both technical English and professional German
• Practical experience from a security service provider, academic background in offensive security, or certification such as OSCP
