About the role
Cognita Schools is recruiting for a General Manager to lead our schools in Switzerland. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director for the region, where you will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and commercial leadership for three schools currently. You will play a key role in shaping and executing a regional growth strategy, including identifying and integrating new acquisitions, while ensuring the highest standards of education, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with Heads of School and central teams, you will foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation that aligns with Cognita’s values and commitment to outstanding outcomes for every student.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a commercially astute, people-centric leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You will bring significant senior leadership experience, ideally within multi-site or regulated organisations, and have a strong track record of driving performance improvement, managing change, and building high-performing teams. You will be fluent in both German and English, confident in engaging with diverse stakeholders from educators and support staff to parents and external partners and passionate about delivering high-quality education.
