Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and analytically skilled Private Equity Associate on behalf of our client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the private equity sector and be fluent in German. In this role, you will support the investment team in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities, as well as managing portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed financial analyses and modeling to assess potential investments.
2. Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees.
3. Coordinate and perform due diligence processes, including market and competitive analyses.
4. Evaluate business models, financial metrics, and operational processes of potential target companies.
5. Assist in developing and implementing value creation strategies for existing portfolio companies.
6. Monitor the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies and prepare regular reports.
7. Analyze industry trends and identify new investment opportunities in the small-cap segment.
8. Build and maintain networks with relevant market participants and advisors.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related function.
3. Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling.
4. Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
5. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
6. High level of self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
