Technical Account Manager, Enterprise Support, ASEAN

As a Technical Account Manager, you will provide consultative architectural and operational guidance to help customers maximize value from AWS.

As we continue to expand rapidly in Vietnam, you'll have opportunities to develop your technical, consulting, and leadership skills. You will work with talented cloud technologists, expand your knowledge of AWS products, and have the chance to receive mentorship and AWS certifications.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers.
  2. Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing costs and complexity.
  3. Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
  4. Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management using your technical acumen and customer obsession.
  5. Consult with a range of partners from developers to C-suite executives.
  6. Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers.
  7. Proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.
  8. Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning.
  9. Offer post-sales, consultative expertise as part of the wider Enterprise Support team.
  10. Solve various problems across different customers migrating workloads to the cloud.
  11. Enhance customer capabilities through workshops, brown bag sessions, etc.

As a trusted advisor, you will directly impact how customers gain value from cloud technology by crafting and executing strategies to drive adoption and use of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data, analytics, security, or application development in distributed systems.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing environments.
