Head of Global Test Lab

MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES

  • Lead a globally distributed lab verification teams structured by different product lines, scientific verification methods and software/data.
  • Define and implement the lab’s strategic roadmap in collaboration with the engineering leadership team.
  • Lead and support initiatives such as Lab digitalization, growth of the infrastructure, evaluation of new measurement technology and component testing programs.
  • Global lab performance controlling & reporting based on the defined KPI’s.
  • Ensure test standards, safety protocols, and software tools are harmonized globally.
  • Maintain high-quality testing capabilities for new product introductions, supplier qualifications, and customer-specific validations.
  • Act as a key interface between engineering, product management, and field application engineering (FAE) for test-related topics.
  • Lead training and development programs to scale lab competencies globally.

Competencies & Key Experiences

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics, mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an international environment leading a technical team.
  • Experience in vacuum and sensing technology, system engineering is preferred.
  • Know-how in the state-of-the-art field programming and data science (eg PLC & Python).
  • Proven skills in developing and implementing new agile processes into a high-tech environment.
  • Personally, you will fit well into our corporate culture and the international matrix organization if you have hands-on work style and like to accomplish tasks fast.
  • Strong English and German language capabilities.
  • Work experience in semiconductors or science environment is beneficial
  • Global travel (5-10%) is required.
