Project Manager Delivery Projects (m / w / d)

For our client, an international company based in Zurich, we are looking for a Project Manager Delivery Projects (m / w / d).

General Information :

• Contract : Contracting
• Start Date : ASAP
• Duration : 5-6 months (with a possibility forextension or a permanent position)
• Type of working : Hybrid (minimum 2 days / week in the office)

Your responsibilities :

• Technical project management for steel structures, covering all phases from sales to design, production, and on-site assembly
• Full technical and commercial responsibility for project execution, ensuring compliance with standards, deadlines, costs, and material objectives
• Collaboration with sales, project management, and engineering teams to define project requirements and align with standards
• Interface role between GIS project engineering and steel support engineering for effective coordination
• Leadership and coordination of engineering teams in Brno (Czech Republic), Chennai (India), and external partners
• Supply chain initiation for steel structure and platform fabrication
• Quality assurance, ensuring deliverables meet project and customer requirements
• Issue resolution for steel quality concerns on-site and in factories
• Process improvement, maintaining and sharing lessons learned to enhance future execution
• Support for factories and site teams, handling quality cases (Q cases) and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
• Root cause analysis of quality and project issues, developing sustainable solutions
• Bachelor or Master in civil engineering
• Experience in steel construction and knowledge of GIS are a significant advantage
• Experience in technical project management in the field of civil engineering
• Minimum three (3) yearsexperience managing projects of different size, complexity, and contractual types
• Structural analysis program knowledge (e.g. scia engineer, staad pro) is a plus
• CAD (3D and 2D-Auto-CAD) knowledge
• BIM software knowledge (Tekla Structures) advantageous
• Knowledge of EC, AISC and Building codes, EN 1090 desirable
• Experience with SAP advantageous
• Very good knowledge of English, other languages such as German are plus
• Good communication and organizational skills and experience in intercultural cooperation
