The opportunity

Our Business Consulting team provides a wide range of services to clients in the Financial Services industry, including Wealth & Asset Management, Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance. The industry is undergoing significant technological change, making this an exciting time to join our team. As a Consultant in our Transformation Execution Practice, you will lead technology-driven transformation initiatives, helping clients navigate market changes and deliver innovative solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Drive business-led, technology-enabled transformation projects within the Financial Services sector.
• Lead project streams and internal initiatives, ensuring successful delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, technology-driven solutions.
• Present recommendations clearly and effectively to clients.
• Utilize and develop EY’s methodologies, frameworks, and tools for transformation projects.
• Organize and lead internal and external thought leadership events and roundtables.
• Assist in business development and go-to-market strategies to provide value-added solutions.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
• Interest in AI, data, and technology, with a good understanding of private banking.
• 1-3 years of experience in data-driven projects such as AI, data governance, or analytics tools.
• Strong academic background from a reputable university.
• Motivated to work in a dynamic consulting environment within the financial sector.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to engage effectively with management and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Team-oriented with a proactive, client-focused attitude.
• Fluency in English; additional languages like German are a plus.

Ideally, candidates will also have:

• Experience in managing technology transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, Agile, and Design Thinking.
• Experience in large-scale transformations involving multiple providers.
• Knowledge or interest in API design, RPA, AI, Cloud, or Python.
• Leadership experience in small project teams.
