The jobholder works closely with and supports the Global Relationship Bankers in managing a portfolio of leading Switzerland-headquartered multinational corporates. The position is part of the Industry & Transport Sector team.

What you will do :
Main responsibilities include acting as a point of contact for clients, managing relationship and product teams globally to support deepening client relationships and increasing income through focused business development activities. The Corporate Banking Manager will drive product sales, lead due diligence and execution of new business opportunities, and implement successful transactions (including KYC, client/product onboarding).
In this role you will :
- Contribute to targets for revenue, product alignment, customer satisfaction, and cost management.
- Increase HSBC’s share of wallet with clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and internal teams.
- Develop strategies to maintain/enhance relationship returns and identify potential credit issues early.
- Provide high-quality industry, competitor, and client analysis to support business development, portfolio management, and credit risk assessment.
- Identify marketing opportunities, prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches for new products and services.
- Support Global Relationship Bankers in servicing client relationships and increasing income.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, and briefing notes for client meetings, and contribute to high-quality client interactions.
- Coordinate with Credit Operations on application remarks, reviews, and proposals.
- Complete credit risk reports, including limit excess, security documentation, and credit control reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards and address audit and regulatory issues promptly.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong team player with high attention to detail, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German, French, or Italian is a plus
- Understanding of risk management and credit mitigation
- Knowledge of Corporate & Institutional Banking products and services
- Strong analytical and business development skills
- Experience managing global, multi-product client relationships
- Comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues worldwide
- Knowledge of banking regulations
- Ability to build partnerships with credit, client management, and product teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
