THE OPPORTUNITY

As Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping MIGx’s financial strategy and driving operational excellence during a transformative growth phase. This senior leadership position offers a clear path to a CFO or Executive Leadership Team role for top-performing candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
  • Conduct account reconciliations and provide in-depth financial analysis
  • Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
  • Produce financial reports and performance dashboards to support decision-making and corporate strategy
  • Align and consolidate financial reporting across international affiliates
  • Identify and drive initiatives for financial and operational optimization
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Sales and Delivery teams, enabling them to excel through financial insights, operational support, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic financial plans
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
  • Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and external auditors
  • Support M&A transactions, including due diligence and post-merger integration
  • Lead the preparation of board-level materials and investor reporting

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Formal training in accounting (e.g., vocational education or certification) is a strong asset
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 2+ years in senior management
  • Background in Life Sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology preferred
  • Familiarity with private equity environments and value creation strategies
  • Experience in M&A, financial due diligence, and post-merger integration
  • Strong strategic mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Abacus is a plus
  • Fluent in English; German or Spanish is an advantage
