Production Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Machine Operator to operate a state-of-the-art, fully automated sports shoe manufacturing line in Zurich.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines that incorporate a polymer extrusion process, automation, and robotics in a production setting.

As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, conducting regular maintenance, and addressing minor issues during production.

Responsibilities

1. Operate production machines utilizing extrusion, automation, and robotics technology.
2. Set up machines for production runs according to specifications and quality standards.
3. Monitor machine performance during production to ensure output meets quality requirements.
4. Conduct routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues impacting production efficiency.
6. Follow production schedules to meet output targets.
7. Maintain accurate records of production activities and machine maintenance.
8. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize processes and efficiency.
9. Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Technical training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a production environment, with knowledge of polymer extrusion, automation, and robotics.
• Ability to operate and maintain production machinery effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow production schedules and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to communicate in English.
