Company Overview:

Our client is a leading boutique investment bank specializing in mid-market M&A transactions across EMEA. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advisory services, the firm provides strategic and financial expertise to a diverse range of clients across multiple industries. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance (M&A) Vice President or Director to join their Geneva office.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and execute M&A transactions from origination to completion, including deal structuring, valuation, and negotiations.
  2. Proactively originate new business opportunities, leveraging an existing network of clients, investors, and intermediaries.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, private equity firms, and institutional investors.
  4. Oversee financial analysis, modeling, and due diligence processes.
  5. Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring the highest standards of execution.
  6. Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
  7. Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes across Europe.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in M&A / Corporate Finance, preferably from an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, or Big 4 corporate finance team.
  2. Strong track record in originating and executing mid-market M&A deals in Europe.
  3. Excellent deal-sourcing capabilities with an established network of relevant stakeholders.
  4. Deep financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  5. Strong negotiation and communication abilities with a commercial mindset.
  6. Fluent in English; additional European languages are highly desirable (French, German, Dutch, Spanish or Italian preferred).
  7. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive business growth.
