IT Project Manager

As an IT Project Manager, this position will collaborate with project stakeholders and implement the project workplan to achieve project objectives. The Project Manager will lead daily/weekly standup meetings and help identify and resolve project team issues. This position will lead project resources to analyze project needs, define requirements, develop user stories, develop and execute test plans, develop and maintain project documentation, and report (written and oral) project progress to stakeholders. This position can be based out of either our Dubai or Swiss Corporate Office.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an IT Project Manager, this position will collaborate with project stakeholders and implement the project workplan to achieve project objectives. The Project Manager will lead daily/weekly standup meetings and help identify and resolve project team issues. This position will lead project resources to analyze project needs, define requirements, develop user stories, develop and execute test plans, develop and maintain project documentation, and report (written and oral) project progress to stakeholders. This position can be based out of either our Dubai or Swiss Corporate Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare project plans and external-facing specifications from technical requirements produced by IT and/or Technical Services teams.
2. Liaise with internal resources and external partners, vendors and/or resources on current and future projects.
3. Monitor daily progress of projects and provide timely detailed updates to the Global Head of Infrastructure and IT as well as other key stakeholders.
4. Create and maintain technical documentation regularly.
5. Realign timescale expectations where programme and project slippage has occurred.
6. Collaborate across a global and multicultural remote team.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Any additional language a plus.
2. Experience as a Project Manager or Lead or related work experience and administering project plans/timelines.
3. Swiss/EU nationality or existing working permit in Switzerland is required.
4. Working experience in hospitality and/or hotel pre-openings would be highly desirable, although not essential.
5. Proven experience with using Smartsheet.
6. Understanding of project management processes, standards and governance.
7. Proven experience in stakeholder management, providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes, ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
8. Excellent time management, organisational skills with the ability and desire to meet project, task, and/or assignment deadlines.
9. Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail and consistency of work.
10. Positive, engaging and energetic personality.
11. Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision.
12. Sensitive to cultural nuances.
13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
