General Description

Reporting to the Head of Europe, the Director, European Oncology Operations oversees the overall P&L of the Oncology Franchise at the European level. This role drives the execution of the global strategy by expanding markets, increasing product awareness, and growing market share across European countries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic leadership for Oncology in Europe, including overseeing commercial strategies and representing Europe at global forums.
2. Implement and execute Oncology strategies and launch plans to expand market share and maximize brand value.
3. Lead cross-functional teams to generate insights, assess performance, analyze market trends, and develop strategies for growth.
4. Coordinate input from market access, medical affairs, and European markets to shape strategies and represent this at global forums.
5. Lead annual planning processes, including the European Brand Plan, AOP, and LRP.
6. Analyze market research data and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
7. Manage lifecycle strategies and ensure their integration into global launch planning.
8. Develop European core content materials and oversee congress strategies and content.
9. Maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including European KOLs.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Indirect leadership of country commercial franchise teams.

Experience & Education Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of industry experience, with oncology expertise essential.
• European experience in a similar role, focusing on operations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or postgraduate preferred, with 9+ years of experience.

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel 30-50%.
