Our client is a rapidly expanding Swiss-headquartered company delivering critical biochemical solutions to pharma, diagnostics, and life sciences players worldwide. They are now strengthening their finance leadership team with a Senior Financial Controller for their Swiss site – a strategic role with room to grow into group-level responsibilities.

What You’ll Do :

• Lead financial accounting, tax compliance, and cash flow management for the Swiss entity
• Prepare and supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Lead a team of 2-3 employees, supporting you in all processes
• Manage VAT submissions and act as key contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities
• Oversee fixed asset and leasing processes
• Partner with the Head of Finance & Reporting on group consolidation and audits
• Drive process improvements and financial system upgrades
• Support and advise local team members on finance-related matters

What You Bring :

• Swiss-certified finance qualification (e.g., Fachausweis in Finance & Accounting) or international equivalent
• 5–7+ years of finance experience in a Swiss or international setting
• Fluent German and English skills
• Expertise in Swiss GAAP (knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP or IFRS is a plus)
• Hands-on SAP experience and strong cash management knowledge
• Solution-focused mindset, with a structured and proactive approach
• Strong communicator with a collaborative spirit
