We are looking for a visionary Lead Principal Engineer (m/w/d) who thrives at the intersection of complexity, creativity, and precision.
This is your chance to lead the mechanical design of world-first lithography systems, where every micron matters—and innovation is measured in nanometers.
You won’t just develop machines. You’ll design the foundation for next-generation optical devices used across industries that are reshaping how humans see, communicate, and sense the world.
️ What You Will Do
- Lead design and development of precision mechanical components and systems for lithographic equipment in close collaboration with other R&D and production teams
- Oversee the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to production and testing, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in design processes, methodologies, and tools
- Plan, coordinate, and execute complex engineering projects within specified timelines and budgets
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of developed products, such as tolerance analysis to ensure high precision requirements
- Supervise activities of a group (2 team members in mechanical engineering field)
Who You Are
Education background in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or a related technical field
️ Previous work experience in
mechanical engineering with a focus on the design and development of precision equipment (must-have experience in semiconductor processing or related industries)
️
Nice to have: expertise in precision and clean mechanical design through the experience of working for lithography tools such asEUV, Immersion, KrF, and Nanoimprint
️
Nice to have: previous experience in R&D roles within the semiconductor industry, particularly in EUV or related advanced lithography technologies.
️
Nice to have: hands-on experience with mechanical design and system integration of complex semiconductor equipment—such as vacuum chambers, precision motion systems, and vibration isolation platforms.
️
Nice to have: experience in EUV technology development
️
Nice to have: expertise in designing, developing, and evaluating ultra-precise testbeds and subsystems for semiconductor process diagnostics, particularly under high-vacuum and thermally controlled environments.
Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design (e.g. CAD, Solid Edge, NX, I-DEAS, OneSpaceDesinger, SOLIDWorks,MICRO-CADAM, etc.)
Simulation (e.g. Ansys, NX-Nastran, I-DEAS, Abaqus,COSMOSWorks, MATLAB, etc.)
Strong practical and problem-solving skills with clear communication style
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges

Fluent in English
