Responsibilities:

1. Development of semiconductor power stages and other assemblies (RF & VHF power amplifiers, RF power combiners / splitters / directional couplers) for high-frequency generators.
2. Power classes in the HF and VHF range from 1 kW to 10 kW.
3. Conception and calculation of the circuits with Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSS.
4. Simulation of the circuits in Labview, Python or MATLAB/Simulink.
5. Construction of the prototypes and their commissioning as well as verification.
6. Participate in further automation of the laboratory environment.
7. Collaborate with PCB design, engineering, software development and manufacturing departments.
8. Close collaboration with the customer on technical issues and the joint development of proposed solutions.

What we are looking for:

1. Completed studies (Master/PhD) in electrical engineering or physics.
2. Experience in circuit development for high frequency or power electronics, especially the optimal adaptation of power semiconductors.
3. Knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C++).
4. Fluent spoken and written English.
5. Enjoy working within an interactive and international team.
6. High flexibility and independence as well as willingness to travel.
