Senior Expert, D&T Plant & Automation

As Senior expert D&T Plant & Automation, you will play a crucial role in the digitalization of our Geneva plants. You will be the point of contact and reference for any questions related to the digitalization of production processes. Your participation is required for the implementation and support of IT solutions to optimize the productivity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the D&T – IT/OT Factory project portfolio by shaping & capturing demands aligned with business stakeholders and priorities.
• Deliver the D&T – IT/OT Factory projects on time, on budget, on scope, with risks managed, together with the factory teams and global D&T teams.
• Provide local support for defined factory and global solutions, ensure SLAs are met, and relevant site Knowledge Base articles are up to date.
• Act as D&T relationship manager with the site, linking with site leadership and contributing to site strategy, bringing IS needs to the global team.
• Ensure ITIL standards around definition and management of IT/OT assets are maintained and asset inventories are up to date.
• Coach the site Engineering teams and support other D&T solutions used in the factory to promote security and D&T best practices.
• Provide functional knowledge to support business objectives, propose and document added value D&T solutions.
• The role will be approximately 60% support/initiatives and 40% CapEx projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT with strong exposure to the factory OT environment.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing in a process/batch or relevant industry sector.
• 2+ years experience in IT/OT support, operations, and project management.
• Experience in several IT/OT factory projects requiring sound technical understanding.
• Expertise in MES systems.
• Potential to grow in the role and assume more complex responsibilities.
• Fluent in English and French.
