Job Description:

Microsoft Strategic IT Vendor Manager - this is a long-term contract opportunity to join our globally operating Basel-based client.

Your tasks:

• Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft and other vendors, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Foster collaborative partnerships to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor performance.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all vendor agreements comply with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of vendor contracts and performance metrics.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Extensive major IT vendor management experience, particularly with Microsoft.
• Solid record of managing vendors with the ability to navigate, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Proven track record in negotiating contracts and successfully renewing partnerships while managing concentration risk.
• Deep knowledge of contract law related to software and licenses.
• Language skills: English.
