Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team of Data Heroes. Your role will involve helping clients extract insights from data, analyze, and visualize their business to enable smarter decisions and improved products & services delivery. The primary focus will be on understanding business goals/KPIs, data ingestion, analysis, and visualization using cloud-based reporting tools.

You will collaborate with other data roles (architects, scientists, engineers) on large international projects for major global brands. We are looking for a versatile self-starter eager to support data-driven businesses and a great team player with a positive, startup-minded attitude.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Participating in initial workshops with client stakeholders to validate goals, inputs, and deliverables.
  2. Gathering initial requirements, designing logical models, and defining functional & technical specifications.
  3. Performing data analysis of business requirements, understanding source data, and mapping to target data models.
  4. Creating reports to visualize insights/KPIs on dashboards using BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  5. Collaborating with data engineers to productionize data pipelines and automate report generation and distribution.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar BI role, preferably in telco, finance, or digital marketing services.
  • Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Keboola.
  • Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ETL, data modeling, data marts) and SQL.
  • Experience with SQL databases like Oracle or MS SQL Server.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a data-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like MS Azure, AWS, Snowflake.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, HBase.
  • Understanding of big data processing technologies like Hadoop, Spark.
  • Knowledge of data workflow management and ETL tools like Informatica, Pentaho, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, NiFi, StreamSets, Glue.
  • Business expertise in Digital Marketing, Marketing Automation, CRM, or e-commerce is advantageous.
  • Fluency in French or German is a plus.
