Base pay range

CHF100,000.00/yr - CHF110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Conduct design work and development projects using 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).
• Apply FEM (Finite Element Method) to analyze and optimize mechanical components and systems.
• Contribute to the development of new product concepts and improve existing products.
• Collaborate closely with other departments such as electrical engineering, production, and quality assurance.
• Participate in R&D projects to advance our products and technologies.
• Create technical documentation, drawings, and bill of materials.
• Perform tests and experiments to verify and optimize product performance and quality.
• Stay updated with current trends and technologies in mechanical engineering and plastics.

Qualifications

• Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, production engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Good understanding of FEM and experience in its application for component analysis.
• Experience in developing mechanical parts and systems, ideally in mechanical engineering or plastics technology.
• Knowledge of production techniques and manufacturing of plastic components.
• Enthusiasm for R&D work and technical challenges.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and good communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
